Biography:

White Tiger is a mantle held by multiple characters in Marvel Comics. The first, Hector Ayala, debuted in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #19 (December 1975). He gained his powers from mystical tiger amulets, granting him enhanced strength, speed, agility, and senses.

Ayala's White Tiger was a street-level hero battling crime in New York City. He faced villains such as the Corporation and Gideon Mace. He briefly relinquished the amulets before later reclaiming them.

Following Hector's death, the White Tiger mantle has been taken up by others, including his sister, Ava Ayala.
